Las Rozas Village is one of the best places to go shopping in Madrid. It is full of nice fashion stores, and the outlet is famous for its significant discounts. For that reason, locals, as well as visitors, love going to Las Rozas. Here is a guide to the village.
About Las Rozas Village
Las Rozas Village is a luxury outlet full of stores. It is located northwest of Madrid, close to the town Las Rozas. It is a relatively new place, founded in 1992, and has since been incredibly popular.
Due to its location, most travelers never get to experience it, but the ones that do take the trip from Madrid to Las Rozas always end up loving it.
There are several ways to get there, which we will cover later in the article.
Discounts and promotions
Las Rozas Village is famous for its great discounts. Most of the stores are famous brands. You can expect to save anywhere between 20-50% by shopping here.
For example, a pair of Vans shoes that would normally be 80 euros can be found for 50 euros in Las Rozas. A pair of Persol sunglasses, usually selling for 200 euros, can be bought for the price of 140 euros here. The same goes for the other brands you will find here.
During some periods of the year, especially in January, you will find even greater discounts due to seasonal sales. The summer (end of June, all of July) is another good time to visit the outlet, as you will find very good promotions on high-class products.
How to get to Las Rozas Village from Madrid
You have several options if you want to go from Madrid to Las Rozas Village.
Going by car is the easiest. It takes between 30-40 minutes depending on your starting point in Madrid.
The cheapest way to get there is by taking a line of the Renfe Cercanías. They depart from popular stations such as Príncipe Pío, Atocha and Chamartín. Take either line C8A, C8B or C10. Get off at the station named Pinar (or Pinar de Las Rozas). You don’t need any reservation, just get a ticket at the station. It takes less than 30 minutes in the train, and it costs just a few Euros (it is free if you have a pre-paid travel card). After you arrive at Pinar, it is a 25-30 minute walk away. There is another mall right by the station which is also worth checking out.
Another easy, but more expensive way, is by taking the Las Rozas Shopping Express. It departs from Plaza de Oriente 3 times per day and goes back again 2 times per day. It goes directly to the outlet – that is the big advantage. But it costs 18 euros for a round-trip, a bit on the expensive side.
You can also take a bus: Lines 625, 628 and 629 drive from Madrid to Las Rozas Village as well.
